  2. Contact Schandre Estates
  3. Read all necessary papers and conditions
  4. Deposit of $5000.00 is required (held in trust)
  5. Balance due in ninety (90) days or when construction starts (whichever comes first)
  6. A fee of $1,500.00 each for the water and sewer connection shall be paid to the town by the purchaser.

Ready to build a house?

  1. Bring house blueprints to Schandre Estates for approval
  2. Contact a Professional Geo-Technical Engineer for a report that identifies any conditions or restrictions that would apply to the lot and house design. This is only required for the walkout lots.
  3. The Geo-Technical report must be sent to both the Town of Lumsden and Schandre Estates
  4. Apply for a building permit at the Town of Lumsden
  5. Contact a Professional Structural Engineer to certify the foundation plans for your house for the particular lot
